Telemann Trio in F major for Treble Recorder (Flute/Violin), Viola da gamba (Viola, Cello) & Basso continuo (TWV 43:F3)

The present trio is taken from that collection of twelve solo and twelve trio sonatas to which the master gave the far too modest title "Essercizii Musici", for under this designation indeed are concealed choice masterpieces of chamber music, the beauty of which continually demands fresh admiration.  The source used for the text was the original print in the former Preussische Staatsbibliothek (now Deutsche Staatsbibliothek Berlin).
