The Glogauer Liederbuch (Das Glogauer Liederbuch), the oldest set of part-books from central Europe, originated from the Lower Silesian town of Glogau. This rich treasure of 15th century music consists of 292 sacred and secular vocal and instrumental pieces originating in many different countries. It was used for making music by enthusiastic amateurs and students, not professional musicians, by the small monastic community.
This selection is for three recorders: descant, treble and tenor.
