Mozart Symphony No.7 in D major (K.45) (Full Score)
The beginning of 1768 saw the Mozart family in Vienna where the Symphony in D major K.45 was written. It has come down to us in an autograph score (Staatsbibliothek Preussischer Kulturbesitz, Berlin). The year “1768” is in young Mozart’s hand, with “16 January” added by his father. The headings of the outside movements are missing in the autograph, but they can be taken from another autograph by analogy, for Mozart reused them as the operatic sinfonia to La finta semplice, K.51 where the tempo marks are found in the score, albeit in Leopold’s hand.
