Cantata for four mixed voices, five-part string orchestra and basso continuo.

Erlebach, a contemporary of Buxtehude and Bach, coupled the well-known Psalm 103, which is often set to music, with the words of institution for the Last Supper.  The work, which is composed in itself, is so well structured that parts of it can also be performed individually purely chorally. The easy and accessible music is suitable for church services and concerts.
