The Handel Yearbook 2020 publishes contributions from Germany, Great Britain, Austria, Croatia and the USA to the International Scientific Conference 2019 in Halle (Saale). New research results will be presented on the subject of "Between Alcina and Theodora: Female figures in the works of Handel and his contemporaries".

In addition, the Handel Yearbook contains the keynote lecture by Silke Leopold “From A (thalia) to Z (enobia): Handel's gallery of strong women” as part of the 2019 Handel Festival, the lecture by Natassa, the winner of the 2019 International Handel Research Award Varka, and free contributions.

As usual, small reports and literature recommendations follow.
